Packaging

They say not to judge a book by its cover, but every day millions of consumers judge products by their packaging. Food packaging plays an even more important role than a book’s cover, as with a book a consumer can choose to simply skim a few pages. With food packaging, consumers judge the quality of contents solely on what they can see. Just like with a brand identity, a packaging system must therefore reflect the nature of its contents, reinforce its points of difference and convince consumers to purchase it over competing options.

The service facilitates the recycling of textbooks from semester to semester by allowing students to buy and sell pre-loved textbooks, and reduce their costs of their education. Understanding the importance of building their brand identity, we developed custom-packaging for its textbooks to be delivered in, further extending the reach of the business' friendly mango mascot directly into its customers' homes. Lio Oil

Lio Oil

Lio is a boutique producer of extra virgin olive oil. We were tasked with developing a brand identity and packaging system bold enough to stand out on packaging while still presenting the product as being of a premium nature. The result is a subtle typographically based brand identity incorporating the form of an olive as the tittle above the letter "i". More
